Statuesque Bride On The Beach
This bride was getting married on Pensacola Beach. She was dressed in a beautiful white chiffon skirt and blouse when I first met her. With her three pearl necklaces elegantly arranged I knew this was going to be a beautiful wedding. Her family had put white calla lilies in glass containers with glass beads on the table. There were white paper lanterns everywhere. Our wonderful family and the groom’s family got along fantastically. As I waited for her by the boardwalk she approached in her empire waist wedding gown she looked beautiful. That arrests was sleeveless satin with lace over the lower part of the gown. Her headpiece had a pearl that laid gently on her forehead. As she walked across the sand with her father to her beach wedding everyone turned to look. Our groom could have been more excited. The bride’s aunt read scriptures and lead us in prayer and introduced the couple at the end of the ceremony. She was so much fun and it was enjoyable to have a family member participate in the ceremony. She was quite the character and I enjoyed every minute of her spirited speech. Afterwards pictures went smoothly and although there was a threat of rain the clouds were merciful and we didn’t even have a drop. The bride and groom had rented chairs for their guests and had peaking in gold sashes for the chairs which look nice on the beach. As they walked away towards their beach house I knew they would have many happy years together.
May The Angels Shine On Your Wedding On The Beach
When having a Perdido Key beach wedding and you are both fans of aircraft you may want to consider November as a month to get married. In November we have two air shows and a night air show. The night air show is really beautiful. Imagine getting married on the beach that afternoon and then taking in a night air show with fireworks on the airplanes. Now that’s exciting! Stay in one of the condominiums on the Gulf of Mexico in Perdido Key and have your beach wedding right there. Many of the condominiums in Perdido Key are fairy wedding friendly. And in November there will be very few people on the beach. Even more romantic. Most of the tourists have gone to the season and the snowbirds have arrived. You may even become a snowbird yourself after getting married on the beach. The area is beautiful this time of year with a wide open beach for you to walk on together without a lot of people around. What more could you ask for? Make sure to check out the Alabama Pass with all the small islands that you can view easily. Take a dolphin cruise and enjoy the sights. Your honeymoon can be spin it right here. How about a sunset sailboat cruise? You can find that in this area. What a great way to celebrate your ceremony afterwards. With a wide selection of restaurants and grocery stores you will find everything you need to make your honeymoon more enjoyable.
Saving The Date For Your Beach Wedding In Pensacola
Many of you will be coming to have a Pensacola Beach wedding in Florida and want to say that date. I understand this. As soon as you have figured out your wedding date, call us. There are certain dates you want to avoid, Memorial Day weekend, July 4, and the Blue Angels homecoming show. Many of you are asking why? One reason is the amount of people on the beach. You will not only be having tourists on the beach the locals will be there as well. That’s a lot of people. And they stay for a long time. Traffic is horrendous. We will not do weddings at all on these dates on Pensacola Beach. I’m sorry I know that’s something some of you might not want to hear. Unfortunately we have to tried to get out on the beach and could not because of traffic. But these are only a small spaces in time and you have the rest of the year at your ceremony. Any time in May before Memorial Day is great. This time between spring break and memorial day is very quiet on the beach. It’s a great time to come down to get married on the beach. After July 20 is another great time to come down to get married. In July the Blue Angels air show and July 4 lead very close to each other. So a lot of people are down here for those two events. That is why we tell people to try to avoid this time. I want the best for you want your wedding day. That’s why I gave this advice, this is your bach wedding and I wanted to be the best it can be.
Wedding Crashers On The Beach
You’ve just had your dream Gulf Shores beach wedding and you notice someone you can’t place the face. You turn to your wife or has been you just married and ask, do you know who that it is? They don’t know who it is either. So you ask a few family members if they know who it is and they don’t. This person seems very nice and is fitting and is socializing with everyone very well. So you decide to just let it go and find out later who that person was. When you get back to your own hometown you ask around to see if anyone knew who that person was. Nobody knows. And while this is an extremely rare occurrence you had a beach wedding crasher. Most of the time it’s a local who really enjoys the weddings on the beach. It could be a man or a woman. Young or old. Most people sit back and watch the wedding from a distance and clapped their hands and wish the couple well should they get within speaking distance. That’s normal. If you have a wedding in front of a condominium don’t be surprised at the end of your wedding that you have a cheering section. That’s normal to. But sometimes you get someone who likes to be part of the happiness and joy. Now if we can only get them to bring a wedding gift, that would be used saying something. Okay the last part was just a little joke but you get it. They’re harmless. We’ve only been crashed twice in years so that’s a pretty good track record. The smaller the wedding you have the less chance of this happening. It’s hard to crash a wedding if there’s only 10 people. You would have to have a wedding of about 75 to 100 people for a winning crasher to sneak in. And since I don’t do weddings with that many people too often I would worry about it.
Get Married In Gulf Shores And Listen To The Music
A beach wedding in Gulf Shores Alabama would be beautiful in November. I know must if you don’t think of getting married in November on the beach but this time a year has something very special happen in the Gulf Shores and Perdido Key area. And if you love music this would be the perfect time for you to come down and celebrate not only your wedding but music as well. The Frank Brown Songwriters Festival starts tomorrow and the area will be filled with music for 10 days. Imagine getting married on the beach and going to hear a songwriter that evening. What a treat! Must people of music and some of you love it even more. Why not take the opportunity to come down and enjoy this event? This is the perfect time a year to come down to get away from the crowds. Your wedding on the sand will be very romantic because there will be very few people out there on the beach. The weather could be more perfect with highs in the mid seventies and lows in the mid sixties. Stroll on the beach with just the two if you and enjoy this time together to bond deeply. Not only way you enjoy a great music but also great seafood. We have some great restaurants in the area including Cosmos of Orange Beach, one of the best restaurants in the area. Or you can try Cobalt on the Alabama Pass, try their tiramisu cupcake. Now that’s a wedding cake to savor. Either way you look at it getting married in Alabama never looked so good.
Marriage License Requirements For A Florida Wedding On The Beach
Your Pensacola Beach wedding will be a thing of beauty with you being the star that shines on the sand, like a little starfish! There are some things you’ll need to know about a Florida marriage license to make your journey an easier one. Let’s begin with the basics. Both bride and groom must be present when applying for your marriage license. Many brides asked me the same question, do we both need to be present? There are two answers to this question. The first answer is yes if you were going to be applying for your marriage license in Pensacola or Navarre you will both need to be present. However if there’s no way you can get down here to apply for your marriage license before your Saturday wedding you can get it from another county in Florida however be aware it will be a long drawn out process and will cost quite a bit in express mail fees and could take up too 6 to 8 weeks. In the long run they could end up costing you almost $300. When it’s easier for the two of you to go to the courthouse together to get your marriage license to get married on the beach. Another question brides ask you is, do you need a blood test? Nope no blood test is required in Florida. If you are both from out of state there is no waiting period. Please remember marriage license offices are open Monday through Friday only enclosed all holidays. The great thing is if you’re getting married on Pensacola Beach there are two places you can go to get to marriage license that are convenient and easy to find. That makes a big difference. Remember we’re always hear to answer questions and make life easier for you.
Be Flexible In Your Beach Wedding Preparations
With your guest list for your Gulf Shores wedding growing ever larger be prepared to only have 2/3 of your guests make it. There will be several reasons why the 1/3 your guests cannot make it. Some of these reasons are they simply can’t take the time off from work. You have to accept the fact that some people have jobs that are not flexible. Some people may be in school. And some people may not be able to afford it and still have the vacation that they want to take later with their children. Above all don’t take it personal. This is a destination wedding so some people will not be able to afford it or have time. Another thing to think about is your bridal party. One bride had 13 bridesmaids, two junior brides, three flower girls, three miniature grooms, 13 groomsmen and a ring bearer. That’s over 30 people in the wedding party. As the day of the wedding to near the bride became overwhelmingly stressed because of all the people. Don’t let this happen to you. If you prepare now and keep it simple you will be happier in the long run. You won’t have to worry as having a large wedding party which can be distracting. People will have problems focusing on the bride with a large wedding party. If you are flexible in the beginning and go with the flow. Remember the most important thing is you are getting married on the beach in Alabama. It really doesn’t get any better than that. Be good to yourself on your wedding day. Get a massage and manicure. Enjoy the beach and watch the waves. By doing all the simple things you will be stress free when it’s time to walk down to that person you love the most.
Made Your Wedding On The Beach Budget Yet?
How many of you have made a budget for your beach wedding in Pensacola? Before you even think about coming to Florida to get married you need to think about what you can afford. You will notice on our wedding packages page we have every kind of package to suit different levels of affordability. Our Island Getaway package and our arches are the most popular packages. And they couldn’t be more different. One for very small weddings and one for larger weddings. One of the largest things take into consideration when planning a beach wedding is your accommodations or lodging. This will probably take up most of your budget. Use the wedding resources page to find accommodations. We have listed two of the most popular websites to help you find a place to stay. Condominiums are about the same price as hotel rooms but with more amenities. Instead of one room you will have an apartment with a real kitchen, bathroom, living room. That’s what makes condominiums great, the convenience. Stay away from high-rise condominiums. That means more people on the beach, which means crowds. Go for smaller condominiums. You’ll still have a beautiful view without all the people. You also need to think about driving or flying. Most of you will be driving, plan for gas money. And then there’s food. In condominiums you can cook because they have pots, pans, and dishes. Most hotels on the beach have free breakfast. If you plan your budget accordingly you can have everything you need. Try not to go into debt. Most if you will be using credit cards so think about interest rates. Now maybe the time to get a credit card with a lower interest rate so getting married in Florida will be easier. I know I’ve given you a lot to think about today but it’s better to start planning now than to wait.
