Spring Breaking With Weddings In Gulf Shores

When you think of a Gulf Shores wedding what comes to mind? Do you think of a son drenched beach with sparkling Gulf water? Do you ever think about medieval times? Well we’ve recently had a wedding in Gulf Shores and are bride and groom wanted to dress in medieval garments. I thought it was a little different but when along with it as I thought it would be a lot of fun. It was great! The bride wore a princess style dress with a big pointy hat and a flowing piece of material on the hat. The grooms came dressed in a suit of armor that was it made of metal. It was made of plastic. But metal would’ve been readily heavy on that beach. They were a queued adventuress couple who are renewing their vows and wanted to celebrate it in a completely different way. I married these two about two years ago and it was a enchanting wedding. They loved the area so much they wanted to come back and renew their vows and have fun on the beach. We did get some people that thought we were shooting a movie and I said no they were just renewing their vows. Several people took pictures and offered to send the couple some of the pictures that they took. A couple kids wanted their pitchers taking with the groom which she obliged. It was a wonderful day to be on the beach with the fun loving and happy couple.

Bridal Beautiful In Navarre Beach Wedding

What’s better than a Pensacola Beach wedding? Well how about a Navarre Beach wedding? I had the pleasure of marrying a wonderful bride and groom on Navarre beach yesterday. The groom was such a wonderful person I had been talking to him for about two weeks on the phone. And he was the one who made all the arrangements, which is different from most of the weddings and a dud or the bride makes all the arrangements. Anyway the day rides and I go to meet our wonderful couple. She had her children there including a six foot four Marine who looked fantastic and his dress uniform. He walked mom down the aisle and was only 18. DOS that kid was tall. Our lovely bride wore a short dress and looked absolutely stunning. She had scandals on her feet which are pieces of jewelry that you can wear round your toe in ankle. Looks great on the beach. We’re about to start the ceremony and oh my goodness the bride forgot her bouquet. Luckily one of her charming children ran up to the condo and grabbed it for her. What a sweetheart. We got so many beautiful photos because yesterday was just outstanding. The sunset and the water were just incredibly beautiful, a little chilly but not too bad. Then again if it gets was 70° a need a sweater. Looking forward to seeing all of you on the beach real soon.

Beach Wedding Safety

When you think about beach wedding safety what comes to your mind? Some of you might think having enough sunscreen on which is a good think, always get it as PS 30 are higher if you are unaccustomed to sun. Others may say weather could play a part in beach wedding safety and they would be right also, as we would never to a wedding in weather that we thought would be not suitable. While some of you might say sharks but we don’t do weddings in the water. Now here’s another thing to think about, stress. Some of you may want to come down over the weekend get married on Sunday and leave after the wedding to drive back home. This is the worst thing you can do and I wouldn’t advise anyone to do it. And here are the reasons why. First you are going to be excited and nervous the whole time Sunday. That’s normal, just about everyone is. Next are gonna be driving all night after being excited and nervous for a whole day and you will be exhausted by the time you get in that car. That’s really scary when you think about it. Instead make other plans. Even if you stay in your own hometown and get married there it’s better been driving a long way and being very tired. My main thoughts are about brides and grooms and how they’re safety. Beach weddings are great but plan with enough time to be happy and healthy while you’re here. Looking forward to seeing all you on the beach soon.

Beach Wedding Hairstyles

Thinking about having a Pensacola Beach wedding? Thinking about what kind of hairstyle you should have on the beach? Well here are some tips and pointers for those of you who are debating what type of hair style sheet you have on the beach during your ceremony. If you have short hair you can wear your hair just about any way you want. It’s not gonna blow in your face or get stuck on your lipstick. Short hair styles can be really cute and look great on every bride. For those of you with medium link their think about keeping the hair around your face pulled back or pinned back in some form. A good hairstylist will be able to do this. Do not have your hair loose and flowing. This is the worst kind of hairstyle you can have on the beach. Although it looks good in magazines you’re going be on the beach where there will be wind. For those of you with long hair you may want to wear your hair up. The long tendrils look  will blow in your face and get stuck on your lipstick. Have your hair back in some form to keep it away from your face is important. You will be fighting your hair and even if you have a lot of spray on your hair it will not hold in the wind.  Your hair will blow around and get in places that you would prefer if not to. The humidity of the beach plays havoc on fine hair as well as curly and thick. Save yourself some frustration and wear your hair back and up.

Bride’s Mom Checking Out Gulf Shores For Wedding On The Beach

Some brides are looking for a Gulf Shores wedding on the beach and are in school getting degrees. And as most of you know some degrees require a lot of steady. So that’s where we find ourselves today with the bride’s mom checking out different areas including Gulf Shores. And what can be better than Alabama Beach wedding? I was talking with this lady today and we were discussing the different areas you could have the wedding in. And while I do love Gulf Shores it’s not for everyone. Her daughter wanted more privacy so I recommended Fort Morgan. This area is a great place to have a ceremony. It is away from it all and there are many types of accommodations to choose from including condominiums, houses, and duplexes. There is also camping out there. However there are are not a lot of stores out there or any real entertainment possibilities. So you have to take an the fact that you do have a lot of privacy but you don’t have a lot to do except enjoy the beach which is great as far as I’m concerned. But to each their own. The mother of the bride did decide on Gulf Shores rather than Fort Morgan. But on the next phone call the bride and groom chose Fort Morgan over Gulf Shores. So there you go. Everyone’s different in what they need to make their wedding on the beach special to them. Remember don’t be pressured don’t be pushed, check around see which you like and find the right place, person and eight that is perfect for you.

Pensacon Bride Wage Battle On The Beach

This Pensacola wedding was on the beach with the aid bride dressed up like Princess Leia. She had decided to come to Pensacon and get married on the beach and participate in the costume contest. I’m not sure she won I didn’t go. But I’m sure she had a good time. She looked adorable was those little cinnamon buns on the sides of her head. Her husband when it has Luke Skywalker. Needless to say they’re both just adorable. They had plenty of friends and family who are also dressed up in the Star Wars theme. Her dad was Darth Vader and he walked her down the aisle. We had the storm troopers with light sabres making and arch for them to stand under. It was so awesome I loved it. I was just a minister for this event and didn’t get any pictures unfortunately. But I felt honored to to be a part of it. This wedding on Pensacola Beach was probably one of the most different ones I’ve ever done in my entire career. They told me that it was going to be a little bit unusual but I had no idea. Their baby was dressed up in a little Chewbacca costume. I really like the fact that someone brought their kids up with Star Wars memorabilia present in the home. It really takes me back and I have memories of my nephews and nieces doing the same thing. Here’s hoping to see you on the beach grill soon getting married.

March Beach Weddings

We have been having a lot of calls from brides and grooms for Pensacola Beach weddings in March of 2015. Many of the couples that are calling are from areas where there has been a lot of snow and their ready to come down to a beautiful Florida and get married on the beach. A welcome break from the winter and all the fury that came with it. Although we have had a cold winter here in Florida it’s nothing compared to what’s up there. I always let the engaged couples know to bring plenty of sunscreen for their special day on the beach. Most brides are still going with strapless dresses but the link that has changed dramatically. We are seeing more short dresses in the past two years and we have ever seen. Personally I love the short dress on the beach. Seeing a bride rocking a short wedding gown is a sight to behold. Usually the couple and their entourage will be going out someplace to dance afterwards, especially young people. So why not wear that dress all night long. While some people have a reception at their beach house or condominium, younger folks like to go out and dance the night away. I remember those days myself. What fun to have your bridesmaids and your grooms men out there and cutting a rug on the floor, the dance floor. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you out there on that beach in your shirt dresses and yearlong dresses. Signing off from Florida, yours truly.
