This bride was getting married on Pensacola Beach. She was dressed in a beautiful white chiffon skirt and blouse when I first met her. With her three pearl necklaces elegantly arranged I knew this was going to be a beautiful wedding. Her family had put white calla lilies in glass containers with glass beads on the table. There were white paper lanterns everywhere. Our wonderful family and the groom’s family got along fantastically. As I waited for her by the boardwalk she approached in her empire waist wedding gown she looked beautiful. That arrests was sleeveless satin with lace over the lower part of the gown. Her headpiece had a pearl that laid gently on her forehead. As she walked across the sand with her father to her beach wedding everyone turned to look. Our groom could have been more excited. The bride’s aunt read scriptures and lead us in prayer and introduced the couple at the end of the ceremony. She was so much fun and it was enjoyable to have a family member participate in the ceremony. She was quite the character and I enjoyed every minute of her spirited speech. Afterwards pictures went smoothly and although there was a threat of rain the clouds were merciful and we didn’t even have a drop. The bride and groom had rented chairs for their guests and had peaking in gold sashes for the chairs which look nice on the beach. As they walked away towards their beach house I knew they would have many happy years together.
